The owners of the Old Smiddy, Julie and Julian, gained 4 stars in Visit Scotland’s quality assurance scheme for bed and breakfast accommodation in their first year.
We strive to provide a genuine and warm welcome, a relaxed and friendly atmosphere and the opportunity to enjoy the delights of the wonderful countryside of the Scottish North West Highlands.
Julie is committed to serving delicious,
high quality breakfasts and, if required, evening meals, using local and regional produce wherever possible. We are listed in a Taste of Scotland an organisation promoting excellent food
in Scotland. Many of of our guests mention the excellent breakfasts and dinners in their comments in our visitors book and many of our returners do so because of the food that they have enjoyed at the Old Smiddy.
